Sherrod Healthcare Credentialing Group
A Global Healthcare Provider Enrollment & Credentialing Management Company

Is your company between hiring? Credentialing and recredentialing demands piling up? Patient care privileges being threatened by facilities and insurance networks? Contact us for a free consultation....we can step in during the interim.

At Sherrod Healthcare Credentialing Group, we believe that physician and allied health providers should pursue their passion – providing superior care to their patients. Whether an independent provider, a member of a group practice, a hospital-based provider, a member of an academic medical center or health system, SHCG will work with you to manage every aspect of your physician and allied health provider credentialing tasks including: initial enrollment, re-enrollment, expiring document management and delegated credentialing processes.

Often, healthcare professionals will create a thriving practice but will need assistance in managing the overall operations. However, operational issues such as lack of experienced management and staff turn-over can quickly turn a profitable practice into a practice with poor patient service, performance, and bottom lines. We understand that getting started in your new practice, expanding your existing practice, or simply maintaining what you have can be extremely overwhelming...so leave it up to us!  We take the time-consuming paperwork and phone calls associated with credentialing off your hands, so that you and your staff can focus on patient care.

Depending upon the size of your practice and its credentialing needs, hiring  a full time employee may not be cost effective, and since credentialing is done in increments, oftentimes it doesn't warrant a part-time employee either. A benefit of being a "contracted" client, is that we will handle your credentialing needs as they arise, minus an hourly rate or salary.
On average, a provider will apply to 10-20 healthcare organizations, such as hospitals, surgery centers, and health plans. Each healthcare organization requires practitioners to complete credentialing applications, compile supportive documents, and request for verification of certain credentials to be sent to the healthcare entity. Providers must also obtain credentialing to become part of a payor network. Without credentialing in place, a practice will be unable to provide care for patients covered by a particular insurance company, or care for them at preferred facilities. Without complete and proper credentialing, an insurance company may choose to make only a partial claim, requiring the patient to pay the balance. Processing credentialing applications for third party payers (i,e., Medicare and Medicaid) are extremely in-depth and require experienced professionals to oversee the process.

SHCG simplifies this process by completing all required documentations and following the process from start to finish; request and submit supporting documents, and serve as a liaison between the practitioner(s) and the healthcare entity. Our primary goal is to remove the administration hassle surrounding the time consuming process.
